Zan

Finally, how you use your mind, the mind's impact over your physical being and how it plays a crucial role in overall health.  There are two parts to a person-the Animal (subconscious, intuitive) and the Human (conscious, intellectual). Dr. Sisk developed the term Zan to represent all that is not the HUMAN/RATIONAL. Zan represents the limbic system, subconscious, intuition, spirit, soul, and instincts that are not part of the conscious/rational /intellectual/human brain.

Our Zan can handle all the bodily functions and millions of chemical reactions necessary to sustain life, without any assistance from the conscious/ human/ intellectual part of the brain. The conscious part of the brain can interfere with this process by 'feeding' negative information to the Zan, disrupting the Zan's ability to keep the body healthy. It is not always a case of psychosomatic (conscious mind making the body ill), sometimes it's somatopsychic (an overload of pain and stress stored up in the body, which inhibits your confidence and rational processes.) To survive the stress of childhood memories, business, or other stressful situations, the body can change physical pain into emotional pain or visa versa. In Zan development, Dr. Sisk utilizes these primitive and basic principles to help you develop your Zan to re-establish and revivify your subconscious, intuition, spirit, soul and instincts.
